a) Initial service call fee due upon completion of diagnosis or initial visit. All special order parts needed to complete repair must be paid for in advance. Special order parts are non-refundable/returnable once ordered. Return visits will not incur another service call fee, only continuation of standard labor rate.
b) All labor performed carries a 90 day guarantee.
Parts warranties vary by manufacture.
c) Pool and Spa Winterizing services and pool closing services are preventative services meant to mitigate damage from freezing weather. After completing these services, there is no gaurentee freeze damage won't happen. Mountain Home Spa Company is not responsible for and cannot be held liable for damage(s) to plumbing, equipment and/or pool or spa structure/shell due to freezing weather, even if we have completed a winterize service prior to the damage occurring.
a) Recurring chemical balancing, long term maintenance and cleaning services are scheduled with no binding contract, however payment for the month of service is due at the end of each month of service. By enrolling in our service program, you agree to pay for said services. Services that have already been completed, invoiced and paid are non-refundable. Please allow a one week +/- scheduled service date grace period for services to be completed.
b) Our recurring maintenance services are very fluid and flexible services. Work orders for recurring maintenance services such as regular balance calls on a bi-weekly, weekly or monthly frequency as well as full drain, clean and refill services, winterizing, de-winterizing and new hot tub start-up services list certain general tasks that we may need to complete as needed in order to maintain the cleanliness and water quality of the hot tub. Because every hot tub and every situation is different, some of the tasks listed on any individual service call's work order or specific job on said work order, may not be completed if they are not needed even though they are listed on the individual job. There is no simple, uniform way to care for a hot tub. Our service is built around maintaining a standard of quality month to month and in the long term, so we perform a combination of certain tasks based on the current condition of the hot tub, it's water quality, frequency of use, sanitizer used and purpose of use. The complete list of the tasks we may perform if needed is what is listed on our work orders. On each service call we internally log data regarding which tasks were completed, the units current condition, chemical readings, filter life, water life, etc. along with photos. We do not automatically send this data to our customers but it is available anytime upon request. Furthermore, the frequency in which a full cleaning (drain, deep clean, sanitize, refill and balance) is needed is typically once per quarter but may vary depending on the current situation. When on recurring service, if a special circumstance arises that warrants a full cleaning and water change and our technician discovers it on their regular balance call, you may not be notified ahead of time that the service is being completed. If you require advance notice for this situation, please specify that when enrolling in our program. We do not work around short term rental schedules unless an agreement has been made upon enrollment. For more detailed information regarding our recurring service's procedure and policy, please contact us via phone or email.
c) A form of payment with a signed authorization form is required to be kept on file when enrolling in any recurring service program. (Excluding payment by check) If a customers payment form is ACH draft or Credit Card, the customer may not be informed ahead of time that payment is being processed unless specifically requested. Payment for all recurring services and associated required parts and additional services are processed between the 26th and the end of the service month.
